Is This You?
If any of this sounds familiar, you're not alone.
You don't have to be failing to feel this, or to do something about it.
You're already doing a good job — what's missing is support, not confidence. There's nobody at your level to think alongside, and that's the thing that needs fixing.
You know what good HR looks like, but you never have time to actually do it.
You're translating people problems into language tech leaders will act on, and nobody trained you for that.
You're making calls nobody else can pressure-test.
You're often the only senior, non-technical voice in the room.
You're holding it all together, and it's wearing thin.
What Happens When You're Supported
You know what good HR looks like, and you always have. What you don't have is anyone at your level to think it through with, or the space to actually get to the version of the job you know you're capable of.
Coaching and mentoring gives you both: dedicated time to think properly, and someone who's walked the path themselves, with 20+ years of HR experience to draw on when you want it.
-
Clearer decisions, without bouncing between calls alone
-
Teams that are developed, not just directed
-
Strategic HR that's felt across the whole business
-
A peer to think with, instead of pressure-testing everything alone
-
Room to lead on your own terms

When You're Ready to Bring This Into the Business
Most of the HR leaders I work with start here, working through something specific, paying for it themselves because it felt like the right thing to do. Some get to a point where that's not enough. The thinking gets bigger. The business starts noticing the difference. And the conversation shifts from "this is helping me" to "this should be part of how we operate."
If that's where you are, the Executive Coaching and Mentoring Partnership is built for it: more regular sessions, a development focus tied to what the business actually needs from you, and space to bring your own leaders into the same kind of support if that's the right next step. There's no pressure to get here, and no expectation that personal coaching and mentoring leads anywhere beyond itself if that's what you need. But if you do want to make that case to your business, I'm happy to help you build it.
